En los últimos años hemos presenciado cambios relevantes en los vínculos culturales y sociales en/entre Asia y América Latina. Nuevos lazos relacionados no sólo con los brillos de la producción cultural o con el ingente flujo de mercancías, sino también con imaginarios y personas que se desplazan o migran entre ambos continentes, insertándose en diferentes posiciones reticulares, generando una Historia y una experiencia que deambula entre sentidos multisituados y locales. En ese contexto hoy tensionado por una pandemia que tiende a transformar y coartar las prácticas cotidianas en ambos continentes, han surgido formas particulares de comprender la naturaleza del vínculo social, sus materialidades, su estructura, sus diálogos, sus rupturas y acoples con diversas culturas. Las producciones estéticas y literarias, los usos de internet, el habitar urbano, las nuevas culturas populares, feminismos, movimientos sociales, movilidades, migraciones, etnicidades, intervención social, por nombrar algunos, comienzan a desvelarse como fenómenos en permanente mutación. Así también las miradas sobre ellos. Desde los márgenes de la hegemonía académica mundial, Asia y América Latina generan aproximaciones para reflexionar sobre sus sociedades.
Para estimular diálogos académicos y generar un espacio de difusión y debate en ambos continentes, invitamos a presentar textos para el número especial: “Asia y América Latina: el nuevo escenario y sus desafíos para las Ciencias Sociales y las Humanidades”.
La fecha límite de envío es el viernes 30 de octubre de 2020. Todos los trabajos serán objeto de evaluación por pares externos. El número especial será publicado en diciembre de 2020. Se aceptan manuscritos en español y en inglés, en todas las disciplinas de las Ciencias Sociales y las Humanidades.

CALL FOR PAPERS FOR SPECIAL EDITION
“ASIA AND LATIN AMERICA: THE NEW CONTEXT AND ITS CHALLENGES FOR SOCIAL SCIENCES AND THE HUMANITIES”
In recent years, we have observed significant changes in the cultural and social ties in and between Asia and Latin America. These new ties are related to the highlights of cultural production and the enormous flow of goods, but also to imagery and people that move or migrate between the two continents, inserting themselves at different points on the grid, thus creating history and experiences through senses that wander between the multi locational and the local. Today, a global pandemic that tends to transform and restrict everyday activities on both continents is adding tension to that context, giving rise to unique ways of understanding the nature of social ties, their materiality, structure and dialog as well as the breakdowns and connections with different cultures. Aesthetic and literary productions, internet use, urban living, new popular culture, feminism, social movements, mobility, migration, ethnicities and social intervention are among the elements that begin to reveal themselves as constantly changing phenomena. The same is true for perspectives on those elements. From the margins of global academic hegemony, Asia and Latin America are creating approaches for reflecting on their societies.
In order to stimulate academic dialog and create a space for sharing and debate on both continents, we issue an invitation to submit texts for the special edition entitled, “Asia and Latin America: the new context and its challenges for social sciences and the humanities”.
Submission deadline: Friday, October 30, 2020 All work will be subject to external peer evaluation. The special edition will be published in December 2020. Manuscripts will be accepted in Spanish and English in all social science and humanities disciplines.

《Rumbos TS》期刊，是智利中央大学主办的，旨在社会科学领域寻求批判反思空间的一本学术杂志。现为特刊征集论文：“亚洲和拉丁美洲：在社会科学和人文学科的新局面与挑战”。
《Rumbos》杂志在ERIH Plus（欧洲人文和社会科学参考索引）、Latindex（拉丁美洲、加勒比海、西班牙和葡萄牙的科学杂志（期刊）在线信息区域系统），Redib（创新与科学知识的伊比利美洲网络）和CLASE（拉丁美洲社会科学和人文科学引文），等等，建立了索引。
拉丁美洲亚非研究协会--智利总部（ALADAA-智利）、智利中央大学韩国比较研究中心（UCEN）、和暨南大学（中国广州）拉美中心，将以特邀编辑的身份参加特刊。
文章的收件截止日期为2020年10月30日（星期五）。
所有作品将由外部专家进行评估。该特刊将于2020年12月出版。
社会科学和人文学科的所有专业都可接受西班牙语和英语的手稿。
